aremote village called mundasupatti.
Actually, many days ago there existed a belief in several parts of TamilNadu
that taking photos was injurious to health and it would reduce one’s life
expectancy. Keeping that
superstitutional belief in his mind, the director portrays the foolish
attitudes of the past and condemns some other superstitutional practices that
is still going on. The hero is assigned
with the task of taking the photo of the dead village officer. He is accompanied with his friend , Kali. As the photo they took is out of focus, they
are in dilemma. The peculiar habit of these village people is
that they never allow to take photos as long as they are alive and after the
death, the dead person’s photos will be taken and placed in the respective
house as a sign of pride. Lastly, an
another man called Munnees Kantwho resembled like the dead village officer
acts like the dead man and his photo is
taken and given to the village
people. In the meanwhile the hero falls
in love with the village officer’s daughter and the director runs the film with
several adventures and comedies and
makes the film interesting till the end.
